For US-bound products, FDA establishment registration and 510(k) may apply where applicable; requirements vary by product, and registration should not be treated as product approval. Other destination requirements may include EU MDR/CE marking and an authorised representative, UK MHRA/UKCA registration, GCC SFDA/MOH registration, KEBS and PPB in Kenya, and TMDA in Tanzania. ISO 13485, CE/MDR, FDA registration, DRAP licences and sterility validation are to be confirmed per product and per manufacturer; documents are available on request. Requirements depend on product, risk class and buyer, and buyers remain responsible for import registration in their country.
